Grilling out is a summertime staple, and what better way to celebrate Hot Dog Month with some fun ways to top off your hot dog?
Here are some fun topping combos you may not have thought of:
Top your hot dogs with a fresh salsa made of basil leaves, diced tomatoes, garlic, italian seasoning and salt and pepper.
Add a little fiesta to your hot dog by topping it with lettuce, cheese, ground beef, tomatoes and your favorite taco chips.
Two summer staples in one! Wrap your hot dogs in bacon before throwing them on the grill, then top with lettuce and tomatoes.
For a really fun twist, top your hot dog with a little bit of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperonis or sausage.
For a truly classic hot dog, top it the way Chicagoans do – yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, chopped white onions, a dill pickle spear, two tomato slices and a sport pepper – all on a sesame seed bun!
