Those are great measuring cups with those bright colors.
I swear I would not be able to cook if someone took away my Oxo Good Grips 12″ Tongs with Nylon Heads! I actually have three of them and depending on what I’m making there have been times where I am using two at a time. I LOVE those with the way they lock closed and a quick tap on the counter or my hand even, will reopen them again.
Electric can opener is great. I also love my large glass bowl I use for almost everything when I’m cooking.
I love my potato masher! It was my grandmother’s and she always made the best potatoes. I like to think mine are almost as good 🙂
I have many kitchen gadgets that are all my favorites, but one that is use so much is my mini wire whisk! It is perfect size for smaller servings of making lump free gravy, sauces, puddings, etc. and for scrambled eggs, and also for mixing small quantities of dry ingredients and spices…just the right size instead of the large one for huge mixing!
The star shaped meat chopper, I would be lost without it!
I LOVE my cast iron skillet, but I’m not sure if it’s a “gadget” 🙂 My other fav is my Cuisinart food processor. Couldn’t live without those things!
3 drawers of gadgets in my kitchen and I use them all…but one that I use non-stop is my zester. Whether it’s lemon, nutmeg, or even onion (yes, you can zest an onion, the juice is amazing for seasoning when cooking), I have it out constantly.
You just can’t go wrong with a meat thermometer w/ timer! I’d be eating burnt meat without it…
Griddle – to make the perfect pancakes or eggs!
I would have to say I love my mix and chop. Especially for loose meat sandwiches or preparing the g.beef for spaghetti or lasagna etc. Give it try i bet you will like it too ! Happy Thanksgiving !!
My favorite gadget is a Foley mixing fork from my godmother’s kitchen. It was made about 1940-1950, and I’ve tried everywhere to find one for my daughter who covets mine! They are no longer made and the imitations are a poor substitute. Everytime I use it, it takes me back to memories of my childhood in her kitchen.
My favorite gadget by far is the coffee machine! Need I say more?
