  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. coarse pepper
  • paprika
  • food coloring (optional)
  • Cider vinegar (optional)

Once you have peeled the hard-boiled eggs, cut them in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolk. Place the egg yolks in a food processor with all of the ingredients except the paprika. Make sure to mix the ingredients until there are no lumps. If you want the devilled eggs to look colorful like Easter eggs, we found an easy way to do it by FOODjimoto – all you really need is food coloring! Make the colors just as you would Easter egg dye and add about three drops of food coloring in each glass. Adding a teaspoonful of cider vinegar in each glass will help make the dye stay on the egg better. Take the eggs out when they’re a pretty pastel color. Drain them on a paper towel. Fill each egg white with the egg yolk mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Makes 8 to 12 servings.
