For the past 22 years, hundreds of farmers from across the country take a pause from their busy lives to take part in a celebration of their deep-rooted success. This year the Quad Cities area had the honor of hosting the annual WHO Tractor Ride for the first time. The ride began on Monday, June 25th and ended on Wednesday, June 27th totaling about 200 miles in three days. Almost 500 farmers attended this event and traveled all the way from California and Hawaii from several states across the Midwest. They traveled the residential parts of Moline, Rock Island, Davenport and Bettendorf while enjoying scenic views of the Mighty Mississippi River.
With our dedication to the American Farmer here at The Machine Shed, we couldn’t wait for all the tractors to roll through town. We had the privilege of serving the farmers lunch on Tuesday in Buffalo and breakfast on Wednesday in Downtown Moline. We loved getting to know all of the farmers who participated by hearing their stories and seeing all of their extraordinary tractors. Below are some pictures from breakfast Wednesday morning.
