Freezer Corn: Preserve the Flavor of Summer
There is nothing better than fresh sweet corn, but what happens when winter rolls around? Since we’re on the tail end of the season, this recipe is perfect for stocking up on that delicious sweet corn and freezing it for the cooler months ahead.
Ingredients:
- 15 cups corn (Cut off the ear)
- 5 cups ice water
- ¼ cups salt
- ¾ cups sugar
Instructions:
- Combine corn, ice water, salt and sugar in large mixing bowl
- Mix well until all ingredients are distributed
- Package in freezer bags
- Freeze until ready to use
Stock up now so you can enjoy that sweet corn flavor long after the season ends!
